North America, a business unit of Ardagh Group, announced its supplying Arterra Wines Canada, Inc. (Arterra) with a new, lightweight wine bottle – 1.5L Bordeaux Stelvin®.

The Ardagh Group has drastically reduced the overall weight of 1.5L Bordeaux Stelvin wine bottle is up to 20percent from its existing design. The new design aesthetically appealing, lightweight, high quality makes it a premium look with sustainable features.
Also, in addition to the redesigned 1.5L Bordeaux Stelvin bottle, Ardagh proposes a set of 12 – 750ml bottles and one (1) 1L bottle that is compliant with the Liquor Control Board of Ontario’s (LCBO) standards. These wine glass bottles are developed and intended to keep high quality and become consumer appeal. At the same time, it reduces the overall environmental impact by needing less energy demand, transport impact, and CO2 emissions.
