New Flip Lid has been launched for Honey

Although it’s a sign of its naturalness, it can show a subdued mood at the breakfast table – the sticking of Honey. Every honey lover has undergone it: you don’t pay awareness for one second, and the screw closure of the jar is glued with Honey, causing it difficult to open again.

We have designed a straightforward flip cover to produce sticky jars, a thing of the past. With its functional design and unique features, nothing stands in the way of complete honey delight!

A CLOSURE WITH MANY ADVANTAGES

The ingenious flip-top design marks a breakthrough in safeguarding Honey from contamination. Previously, the screw cap was necessary to open jars of Honey; however, with this innovative twist-topped jar lid, you no longer need to exert any force whatsoever! Should any honey manage to get on it – whether accidental or intentional – simply flipping it back and forth will allow for an easy remedy without compromising hygiene standards.

The daylights of glued honey spoons are also over. Our new hinged lid has an integrated scraper edge and permits it to hang up the spoon so it can drip off. This way, not a drop of the valuable product is wasted, and you only have to hold the spoon in your hand once it is clean enough to be put down.

When designing new ideas and developments, it is always a great sense for us to make them as careful and lost as possible. The closure must be made of a suitable plastic and can be recycled if it loses the material cycle. It is also best to permanently dispose of the glass and lid.

FLIP TOP OR SCREW TOP – EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE

We designed the new hinged lid, especially for our traditional Breitsamer honeycomb glass.

From now on, everyone will choose how our Honey is opened because the closure can be unscrewed and flip-opened. It’s best to test our new closure yourself and find out what you like more useful.

You can find the new hinged lid on our classic varieties, the Mediterranean summer honey, our three “fair breakfast” honey, and our famous „Frühlingssummen. “

BEFORE FIRST USE

Honey jars with hinged lids have sealing foil to give the product originality. It must be released before the first use: screw on the glass – remove the film – screw it back on – and that’s it!
