FACA packaging launched a biologically based solution

Faca Packaging, a packaging manufacturer based in Barcelona, Spain, has introduced a new line of products, jars, and bottles, made with 100% plant-based raw materials.

Faca is responding to the transition toward greater sustainability in the cosmetics packaging industry while maintaining a leadership position in this industry’s high-end and luxury sectors.

Faca’s latest offerings, made from sugar cane-derived polyethylene and other materials, help its customers achieve their own environmental goals while meeting end-consumer demands for more sustainable packaging.

All Faca packaging is manufactured in Europe. The company produces jars and bottles from 7 ml to 250 ml (with and without an internal beaker).

As the recently launched jars illustrate, product development is a primary focus at Faca. The company invests heavily in R&D&I and, over the years, has built a portfolio of more than 300 active patents.

Sustainability and environment

In addition, the company has invested in state-of-the-art machinery to achieve more sustainability and lower consumption. Both injection and heavy machinery acquisition allows multi-cavity molds and decoration and assembly with state-of-the-art machinery for quality control through high-speed artificial vision cameras.

The trend in cosmetics is the use of refillable containers.

Faca Packaging has developed new refill containers to support sustainability and the circular economy to help cosmetic and beauty brands create new models.
