The European Product Design Award represents the achievements of talented specialists and amateur designers in cooperation with the European Parliament. The Comic Beer won the Bronze award in Packaging Design/Beverage category: two pleasures in a unique experience.
The multi-layer label – formed with a polymeric method to resist humidity and remain legible – is an accordion booklet with a hand-drawn comic-strip to be read while drinking an outstanding beer.
The first edition meets three stories by acclaimed Spanish illustrator Alberto Madrigal to a trio of craft beers. The clean, fundamental graphics shows the cartoonist style.
