AD XeroLinr DT LinerLess Label introduced by Avery Dennison
Avery Dennison Corporation has introduced AD XeroLinr DT, its direct thermal (DT) linerless label portfolio, as part of its increasing Sustainable ADvantage giving in Asia Pacific.
LinerLess Label
AD XeroLinr DT is developed to boost sustainability and productivity while lowering logistics time and cost. As the backing paper material that holds the label face until its application stage, liners contain 30-40% of the whole pressure-sensitive label construction. With the elimination of liners, AD XeroLinr DT delivers tremendous sustainability benefits corresponding to the conventional DT labels with liners, including lowering raw materials, greenhouse gas emissions, and solid waste generation. Within the same diameter of the roll allows more labels per roll and fewer periodic change-overs, delivering more machine uptime.
Jitesh Mehta, Senior Product Marketing Director, Avery Dennison Asia Pacific, said, “We are eager to expand AD XeroLinr DT™ to our consumers in this territory. The linerless demand is hoped to grow enormously over the next few years, particularly where variable details printing needs are high such as quick assistance restaurants, e-commerce, and weigh-scale applications. This comes from improved demand for sustainable alternatives, and we consider our global reach, technical expertise, and innovative approaches will greatly support the sustainability landscape.”
