Neopac’s PICEA; Tube for Bamse Brand honored for Sustainability at PCD and ADF Paris

Neopac, a provider of the high-quality tube for the packaging of a broad range of industries and purposes, received a certificate at this year’s PCD Award at the Perfume, Cosmetics & Design Paris award show. The organization has been honored for the sustainability of its PICEA™ Tube for the brand Bamse, which is owned by Trimb Healthcare. The Neopac’s tube is EcoDesign products, a complete line of eco-friendly packaging solutions.

The PICEA™ Tube is included primarily of a blend of spruce waste and a plastic matrix of sugar-based raw materials made solely for Neopac.
It is having 95.8% renewable materials. Prominently, the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO) CO2 footprint analysis showed that the PICEA™ wood tube does up to 38.9% less CO2 in its life-cycle than a conventional polyethylene (PE) tubes.

Additional benefits of Neopac’s PICEA™ Tube accommodate easy printability, recyclable capabilities, and barrier properties comparable to LDPE tubes. The PICEA™ Tube has also achieved Ecocert and Cosmos certifications, as well as the Food Grade status EU.

Bamse allows having skin care specially designed for kids, with components that are sensitive to skin.
