The “I LOHAS” is a water brand, made for love for water that admires both deliciousness and the environment.

Focus on Health and the Environment

The name of the Coca-Cola brand, “Iroha,” and “LOHAS” taken from the ancient Japanese poem. And the combination of the first three characters, which focus on health and the environment.
Presented in gentle-looking Japanese hiragana characters, the brand name describes an illustration of Japanese natural spring water. “I LOHAS” spring water is obtained locally from carefully selected water sources for a pleasant taste that can be relished.

Strategy for Label Less I LOHAS

First-of-its-kind, Coca-Cola Japan’s has taken a new strategy with I LOHAS brand — matryoshka-like, within layers of plastic and paper — used to seem charming. In 2020, however, it now just seems annoying and wasteful.
Many companies have begun to the certainties of the 21st century, beginning eco-friendly PR campaigns. One of the campaigns in Coca-Cola Japan, which prompted to “revamp” its I Lohas bottled water brand first this year.

Bottle without a label for 560mL SKU

The bottle made with 100% rPET (recycled Polyethylene terephthalate) and without a label on the bottle. This decision would be very difficult for marketing. It is only for the 560mL SKU having the shipper packaging with 24x560mL.

Why did Coca-Cola decide to Label less bottle?

The reason behind not to stick the label, it will be comfortable in separation in the garbage and easy to recycle. Way ahead for the sustainability step, 100% recycled PET bottle material used to protect the environment.

Reason to buy the label less bottle

Also, the bottle you can easily carry outside Or refill in an existing container while on the move. And the sophisticated design that embossed the logo “Irohahasu” reminds the environment.
