History Rewind – Bubble Wrap Invention
It was a naughty way how Howard Fielding(inventor of Bubble wrap film), a boy 5years old popped his first bubble to play when his father was not looking at him.
As he was doing for the funny-feeling film, So, he began the bubbles for popping—just like the rest of the world does.
Fielding said, “I remember being the first beta tester for Bubble Wrap,”. A retired reporter was living in Southbury, Connecticut.
Co-invented Bubble Wrap in 1957, Fielding’s father, the late Alfred Fielding and brought the sheet of the bubble wrap to play with it.
At that time, no one knew how valuable is the invention, or how it finally would transform the system by which goods are packaged and shipped (mainly fragile items).
The little machine shop the elder Alfred Fielding worked in Hawthorne, and now it’s a big MNC company and top 500 fortune companies, called Sealed Air Corp.
The main reason to grow this business is with the E-commerce business.
