Pretium Packaging launched Custom Blow Molding with Bio-based Resin
Bottles range from size from 60mL to 9L, having Braskem’s I’m Green™ polyethylene composed from ethanol sugarcane, a renewable plastic.

The bottles are made with extrusion blow molded and it is manufacturing at any Pretium location across the United States and Canada that currently has HDPE capability.
“Pretium has been advancing bottles using post-consumer recycled content for many years. So, this new bio-based capability allows us to provide the next level of environmental responsiveness, for those brands that are involved in this premium offering,” said Keith. “Additionally, the bottle can be recycled in the #2 HDPE waste stream.”
