1. Cost and availability—should be calculated by the bottle

recyclability and availability of recycled material, toxicity, or biodegradability.

3. Clarity or opacity

Bottle need transparency or colored bottle

4. Stiffness or squeezability

5. Water or moisture vapor transmission rate (WVTR)

6. Gas permeability

7. Chemical resistance to the type of chemicals required.

8. Temperature range

9. Impact strength.

10. Environmental stress—crack resistance (ESCR)
