Unilever launched a program of recycling a step ahead with the Loop™ – which is durable, reusable and refillable packaging.


Firstly Unilever started with 9 brands including new product format. This product is on trial with the Loop™, “waste-free shopping.”

The concept of this format is like a product having the average life is nearly one month and with this type of refilling will last to 100cycles. This makes it each pack shall be last long up to 8 years which results in saving of 100packs.

International Leader TerraCycle, makes a coalition with international brands, launched an idea to reuse the product with the same packaging. The program offers the possibility to work with others at scale to test reuse ideas, which will help make circular packaging systems commercially viable.
