Pulpex is a first-of-its-kind technology that produces bottles from wood pulp utilizing FSC-certified renewable feedstocks from responsibly maintained forests. The innovative paper bottle is intended to be broadly recyclable in standard waste streams. It will help The Estée Lauder Companies’ endeavors to decrease the environmental impression of its packaging across the lifecycle.

As a part of the Pulpex partner consortium, The Estée Lauder Companies connects a group of leading consumer packaged goods (CPG) businesses, including Diageo, Unilever, PepsiCo, GSK Consumer Healthcare, and Castrol, aim to develop the innovative paper bottle packaging.
