Mcdonald’s rebranding with a new packaging

A new look for a lasting legacy and Mcdonald’s new packaging.

Our partnership with McDonald’s has resulted in a new global packaging design that is both joyous and made easily understandable through our illustration.

McDonald’s playful point-of-view has helped the brand evolve its design system away from prominent on-pack messaging, cooking up graphic representations of their iconic menu items instead.

The packaging on the Filet-O-Fish clamshellQuarter Pounder with Cheese, and other items create a visual system that is expressive, joyful, and simple. Each wrapper, clamshell, and pack is identifiable, having a cool blue color palette that represents the ocean’s waves. The golden cheese on the Quarter Pounder with Cheese makes a visually pleasing addition to this design.

The new McDonald’s packaging is designed to be recognizable no matter where orders are being assembled, shared, and enjoyed in the world. Evocative graphics make it easy to understand.
